Maryna Zanevska (1st Set Winner) vs Dalma Galfi
This one is matched as a close one but with Zanevska’s skills and better stats edging ahead, were going to take her to win the first set of this match. Zanevska took out eighth seed Bronzetti in straight sets with force just recently today, it was quite the match to watch. Here we are going with the Belgian as we don’t think Galfi has what it takes.
Their head to head is 4-1 for Zanevska, but this is the first tour level meeting between the two, the one match she lost was on clay so that’s worth noting. But with Zanevska having more experience with tour matches and also just being the more well rounded player, she should get it done. We’ve been watching her in Bucharest and she absolutely dominated Sherif and Bronzetti in another straight set win with class. She should have no problem working this first set to her advantage, and take it.
