The US Open Tennis Championships is a hardcourt tennis tournament held annually in Queens, New York. Since 1987, the US Open has been chronologically the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the year. The other three, in chronological order, are the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon.

Two-time French Open champion Iga Swiatek will push to win her third Grand Slam title when she faces Ons Jabeur in the US Open final. Jabeur, is bidding to become a Grand Slam champion for the first time after previously losing in the final at this year’s Wimbledon.
The world number one was eliminated in the third round at the All England Club, but she has responded emphatically in the final Grand Slam of the year. Going 3 rounds without dropping a set, Swiatek was cruising until the round of Sixteen where she dropped first set to Jule Niemeier before battling back to win 2-1. After that scare Iga regained her form to sail in to the final now the Polish star Swiatek is aiming to win her first US Open title.
Meanwhile, Jabeur is participating in her second Grand Slam final after missing out on the Wimbledon title in July, with Elena Rybakina winning on that occasion. Having previously failed to make it way past the third round at Flushing Meadows, Jabeur has only dropped one set on the way to Saturday’s showdown with Swiatek.
