England to beat South Africa @ 13/11
Ben Stokes to top score for England @ 5/1
Keegan Petersen to top score for South Africa @ 7/2
England will be looking to end their home summer series against South Africa with a win before heading to Pakistan. Ben Stokes’ men are currently level at 1-1 with the Proteas after two Test matches with the third one taking place at the Oval this week. South Africa won the first Test in convincing style as they hammered the hosts by an innings and 12 runs. England were embarrassed in that opening Test, but they soon bounced back. They recorded a convincing win of their own in the second Test as they won by an innings and 85 runs with Stokes and Ben Foakes both scoring centuries. England were ruthless at Old Trafford with Jimmy Anderson taking three wickets in each innings to end up with six overall.
Confidence will be high in the England camp, and although the Test is in London, we cannot see the home side losing. We am not a fan of Test matches in London. There is no atmosphere and England seem to struggle when put under pressure at the Oval or Lord’s. When South Africa bat, we expect Keegan Petersen to add to the 87 runs he has already scored by finally getting a big score.
