Yesterday’s spread was the largest in baseball so far this season. Todays spread isn’t as bad due to a much closer pitching matchup on paper. However the Rockies struggle on the road and have not fared well at NY their entire history. Yes Rockies can hit, but we don’t see them getting much against Bassit. He’s an underrated pitcher and we’ve taken him a lot this year. In his past 4 starts- 2 earned runs in his past 26 innings. Kuhl was getting a lot of hype early on this season, but has cooled off recently. After pitching a gem at home vs dodgers in late June, he has been getting rocked. Mets offense can rake, and yes it’s true that Mets don’t provide run support for DeGrom, we got just enough Thursday. But the Mets bats come to play for bassit, and the Rockies suck on road, starting a ten game road trip at NY, and we believe it’s gonna be a rough trip for the Rockies. Whom only talk out here in CO is whether they can cover the 68.5 win total. With the Mets, NY is buzzing for October baseball from both teams knowing jets and giants will slip.
