MLS All-Stars vs Liga MX All Stars, 1.30am GMT
The Major League Soccer All-Star Game is an annual soccer game held by Major League Soccer featuring selected players from the league against an international club or selected players from Liga BBVA MX.

MLS All-Star game will take place in Minnesota and feature MLS vs Liga MX. It is fair to assume that MLS will have home advantage this time, compared to last year when they played the all-star game in Los Angeles. This home advantage will definitely give a boost to the MLS side.
Last year’s game ended 1-1 and went into penalties which MLS won. We expect a much different result this time around and believe MLS All-Stars will win this game in the 90 minutes. One key reason here: Liga MX is dealing with a lot of injuries and won’t have all their star players available. The major injuries include top scorer Gignac, who is arguably the best player in Liga MX, Matheus Doria, Diego Barbosa, William Tesillo, and Jordan Carrillo. Many players who played well in last year’s game wont be playing this year either due to being snubbed or transferring out of Liga MX and this list includes Funes Mori, Jonathan Rodriguez ( the goal scorer for Liga MX last year), Luis Romo, and goalkeepers Ochoa and Talavera.
While the Liga MX side is dealing with a lot of injuries and missing many top players, MLS will be missing only two players to injury or transfer: Taty Castellanos and Alexander Callens. Castellanos is a big blow, but there are plenty of forwards in the MLS side that can score (Chicharito, Driussi, Ruidiaz, Ferreria). Callens is a solid defender, but his replacement Jakob Glesnes has been in solid form, so that is not a big miss.
Overall, MLS will have the better side and better players, in my opinion. With their “home” advantage, they should be able to pull off a win against an injury-riddled Liga MX side.
This should be an epic game not to be missed.
