Pre Season Picks
We here at Degen can’t wait for the NFL season to start so (maybe early) but we are going to be doing weekly threads of general NFL thoughts / bets leading up to the kick-off. We know with training camp just getting started and unfortunately the fact that more impactful injuries are sure to happen, but we figured it’s good to get the creative gambling juices flowing early.
Early Team Totals Picks:
Bills u11.5. We like the Bills and they should make the playoffs. But the division got tougher with the moves the Dolphins and Jets made. Patriots always find a way to be competitive. They have some tough games against the Rams (Week 1), Packers, Chiefs, Bengals, Titans (who have gotten the better of the Bills). No Tre White for a while is huge for Bills secondary. We think they repeat 11 wins like last year.
Steelers o7 wins. Its Mike Tomlin. He finds a way to have a winning season. The OL is much improved and they added more pieces on defence. Trubisky/Pickett is likely Koch better then Big Ben’s corpse.
Chiefs, Broncos, and Chargers under wins. This division is tough as hell. We doubt that any of these teams gets 11 wins. Someone is gonna have a disappointing season or ends up 10-7. Were going to take the under for all 3 teams and might also combine in a parley.
