England will look to extend there fine run when they meet Germany at Wembley on Sunday afternoon. Both teams boast a high scoring tournament England with Beth Mead and Germany with Alexandra Popp been at the top of the scoring list.
The Lionesses will be trying to get their hands on major silverware for the first time in their history when they play at a sold-out Wembley Stadium.
They have never won a World Cup or European Championship title and the last time they were in a major final was in 2009 when they lost to Germany in the Euros.
For Germany, it will be their ninth European final. They have been victorious in all eight of their previous appearances, making this a normality for the most decorated European Women’s team, who will no doubt be full of confidence.
That said we believe England under Wiegman and on home soil will triump.
