Formula One Tips
Who Wins
Date: Sunday 31st July, 14:00 GMT
The Hungarian Grand Prix is a motor racing event held annually in Mogyoród. Since 1986, the race has been a round of the FIA Formula One World Championship.
With the news that Sebastian Vettel will retire at the end of the current season, this weekends GP could turn into a bit of a celebration of his F1 journey, and why not. It could also start a push from drivers who would like to compete to take his Aston Martin seat, so could make for an exciting race.
Race News:
The race, from the tight and twisty Hungaroring, is Formula 1’s last before the four-week summer break and Verstappen holds a 63-point title advantage after Leclerc spun out from the lead last weekend in France.
Its been labelled a must win for Ferrari if there is any chance of the team or drivers closing the gap. We also saw a vast improvement from Lewis Hamilton and the Mercedes team last time out with 2 podium places giving them some important points.
Betting Picks:
Charles Leclerc, Race Winner @6/4
We see Leclerc making up for his crash in France and taking the win, which means going into the summer break will be a bit and give teams something to think about.
Lewis Hamilton, Podium @6/5
With added confidence after a good team result last time out we see Lewis and Mercedes building on this and getting some much needed points going into the break.
Max Verstappen, Podium @4/11
Max will not let his lead slip without a fight and if his not winning his still picking up the big points.
Value Bet (The Romance):
Vettel, Podium @150/1
Were mostly just hoping he gets something to start marking the end of his great career, A points place @11/8 is a more likely out come.
