U.S Open Tennis Build Up

The Atlanta Open, is a professional men’s tennis tournament that has been played in the Atlanta area in the United States since 2010, usually during July or August. The tournament is played on outdoor hard courts as part of the USTA’s US Open Series, the seven-week summer season lead-up to the U.S. Open

Todays Picks:

Francis Tiafoe ML @8/13 vs Taro Daniel

We know @8/13 might not be the best odds, but were shocked to be getting this pick at better odds than 1/5. Tiafoe has been playing high level tennis and will be entering this match with confidence after a solid performance at Wimbeldon. He enjoys playing on hard courts and will have the home crowd behind him. His opponent, Taro Daniel, is a player who spends most of his time on the challenger tour and working his way through qualifiers. We think this line is the way it is because Daniel took out Sebastian Korda in the first round. Korda hasn’t won a match since early June and has been out since then with an ankle injury. His performance against Daniel was awful. It’s hard to see any way Tiafoe loses this match.

Paul ML @4/11 vs. Kwon

I expect Paul to crush Kwon. Kwon struggles with good returners due to his uninspiring serve – and Paul was on fire with his serve returns against Sock. Paul could win this tournament. He’s always had the skill and athleticism to play like this. Just has been so inconsistent.

Opelka vs. Ivashka – Total Sets 3 @5/4

This one feels like it has tiebreaker written all over it. 3 months ago we would of absolutely hammered Reilly. Right now it feels like a fair line. Reilly hasn’t been himself in quite some time, and if he gives up a dumb break, ivashka is more than capable of pulling this out. This is another stay-away for me. If either player goes down bad S1, we would consider taking them as live dogs after the set ends. Both have the tendency to give up mid-set or get frustrated, but both are talented players.

ATP Umag:

Munar ML @ vs. Sinner

Mostly calling this based on Sinner’s form coming off an injury. We don’t expect him to roll here, so were going Munar.
