This version of Gilas Pilipinas might be young be they can play. half of them are playing overseas, mainly in Korea, Japan and Asian imports. Bobby Ray Parks Jr. is expected to lead this team on both ends of the floor as he is one of the oldest and most experienced player of the team. he averaged just 10.4 PPG and 2 Assists per game for his Japanese squad last season but on limited minutes and just 8 shots per game. I know he’s capable of doing more with a bigger role as he averaged 22 ppg, 8 rpg and 3 apg in the PBA back in 2020. I’m expecting him to take the most shots and play the most minutes for this team.
We think this game can go either way. Jonathan Arledge might more than 25 points but they will be missing Norvel Pelle’s presence of the defensive end of the floor. Lebanon will likely win this but it will be a close one.

These teams played just last week and Iran won the game 56-91. Hamed Haddadi led the team with 14 pts 15 rebounds and 4 assists. both teams are going to be fielding almost the same roster for today’s game with very little minor line-up changes.

This very same Indian team only lost by 16 points against the Philippines just last week, we can’t see them losing this game by more than 40 vs young and inexperienced New Zealand. 25 maybe but 35 points at most. This in not New Zealand’s A team, they are fielding a very young team in this tournament, only 23 years is the average age, Smith-Milner at 26, is their oldest player.
Kazakhstan ML
It’s hard to believe in Japan’s roster. their only notable players are Yuta Watanabe, Luke Evans and Togashi and the rest are just role players in their domestic league. Kazakhstan on the other hand are in good form as they just beaten Iran twice.
