Wimbledon 2022 Daily Tips
Day 3
The Championships, Wimbledon, commonly known simply as Wimbledon or The Championships, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious.
Today’s Picks:
Tommy Paul vs Mannarino – Paul Handicap -1.5 Games @8/11
Paul has been on top form this season on grass beating Sinner, Shapovalov and Wawrinka in Queens and Eastbourne and his amazing forehand should be too powerful for Mannarino. He’s also really solid on his 1st serve and his slice is another quality to keep in mind
Mannarino has that lefty playstyle with flat and precise shots but he seems a bit weak in Grand Slams and as an old player he tends to lose some of his tennis if the match goes to distance.
Ryan Peniston v Steve Johnson – Ryan Peniston ML @4/6
On first look Johnson is the higher ranked player, but once you get into the statistics and logistics of this match it becomes clear who the obvious winner. First and foremost, Johnson probably wouldn’t even be here if Dmitrov (his previous opponent) didn’t get injured in his first round match as he was losing up until the injury and did not look great out there. He hasn’t made it past the second round of a slam this year and is 2-2 on grass this season against very straight forward opponents.
Andy Murray vs. John Isner – Andy Murray to win & over 39.5 games @13/8
With Murray back on court today and with a favourable draw this is a great bet. It is a personal cash cow for me during the Roland Garros and we would love to pick up where we left off in the Wimbledon championships. Murray is solid and favored in this matchup, but Isner’s serve on grass is his strongest asset and we think its enough to steal at least a set.
Caroline Garcia vs Emma Raducanu – Raducanu ML @8/13
The British number 1 put some doubts to rest on Monday when she put in a mouth-watering performance as the under dog, she goes into this match as favourite and rightfully so. Garcia is going to put up a fight but we see Emma having to much. For value maybe Radu 2-0?
Other Picks:
Nikoloz Basilashvili vs Quentin Halys – both players to win a set
Ruud / Humbert – Over 39 games
Zhang ML
Vekic ML
Garcia ML
