So the NBA season is barely cold and its draft time. What a great end to the season Golden State Warriors Champs, Celtics fans broken and now everybody trying to sign the talent to compete next term, so here is the news on the draft so far. We will add updates as they happen so check back.

Talk So Far:

Jabari Smith, Chet Holmgren, Paolo Banchero, Jaden Ivey, Keegan Murray, Bennedict Mathurin, Dyson Daniels, Shaedon Sharpe, Jalen Duren, AJ Griffin and Johnny Davis received the first batch of 11 invites last Thursday, followed by Ousmane Dieng, Jeremy Sochan, Ochai Agbaji, Mark Williams and Malaki Branham on Monday.

TyTy Washington, Tari Eason, Jalen Williams and MarJon Beauchamp received what are believed to be the final four invitations Wednesday for the June 23 draft. The green room is a staging area in front of the NBA draft podium where players, families and agents await commissioner Adam Silver calling a player’s name upon selection.

The complete 1-58 draft order for the 2022 NBA Draft presented by State Farm was determined after the results of the NBA Draft Lottery, which was won by the Orlando Magic who will pick first.

The general expectation for the 2022 NBA Draft is that Jabari Smith Jr. will go No. 1 overall to the Magic, followed by some combination of Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, Purdue’s Jaden Ivey and Iowa’s Keegan Murray.
