Krajinovic vs Berrettini (ATP London) 1.30pm GMT

Our Picks:

Matteo Berrettini to win & under 21.5 games @6/4

Berrettini 2-0 @4/7

Krajinovic has had a wonderful tournament until this point but we’re still convinced that his game doesn’t belong to Grass. Even with this campaign he still has a 11-12 record on this surface. We think he’s double handed backhand as his best shot but we don’t see him having much joy with that in this final, also that huge serve that you need on the green courts might not be there. On the last round he managed to beat Cilic which on paper is a great win but we could see that Marin wasn’t at his best since the start of this tournament probably due to having such a long Clay season.

Berrettini is probably the best Grass player out there at the moment with a record of 35-7 on this surface and a 8-0 record in 2022 winning Stuttgart and probably winning ATP London as well. Krajinovic won’t be able to use his defensive playstyle against a player that is unplayable if he is on a good serve day and he’s been doing great in that regard, bring on Wimbledon.

Medvedev vs Hurkacz (ATP Halle) 2pm GMT

Medvedev ML @1/5

Daniil Medvedev to win & under 23.5 games @11/8

Expecting a 2-0 from Medvedev. The polish player Hurkacz showed until this point a great tiebreak record and a good ability to hold his serve in the most tight situations but until the final he faced 4 bad returners on this tournament and Medvedev is on another level when it comes to being able to break his opponents. Imagine facing 4 guys that only deliver quality on their service games and then you face one of the best returners on tour who also has a great service game. This matchup for me is way too one sided for the Russian especially with how far back he stays on the baseline and Hurkacz made aces against Kyrgios who was not even caring about antecipating serve but Medvedev is a specialist in that regard and with no Wimbledon for the Russian which is a shame, he will look to win else where.
