Iga Swiatek vs Cori Gauff – 2.05pm GMT

Iga Swiatek 2-1 @10/3

Over (20.5) @5/4

We are excited for a great final here or at least a real tennis match and not a walk in the park for Swiatek especially with all the pressure on her. This can one sided on paper but she’s in a grand slam final while trying to get her 35th win in a row to tie with Venus Williams for the longest winning streak of this century. Iga has the best shot on the WTA tour which is her forehand, capable of generating so much power from the baseline with very little effort just like Rafa Nadal and that’s not surprising since he’s Swiatek’s role model. Obviously we think she has the final in the bag but we don’t think were convinced that it will be easy.

Cori Gauff has clay as her best surface due to her fast movement and court coverage also in our opinion she has the best backhand on the WTA circuit currently and she uses it really well. Her 1st serve is very dangerous and this is the main weapon that she has (maybe a punt on most aces Gauff is worth a look) and to use against Swiatek to earn free points as much as she can will be important in her attempt. The main weakness for her is the forehand and she hides it really well in Clay because she has time to always be in a good stance to hit the ball even on her worst side.
