Day 4 Main Picks:

Holger Rune vs Thiago Seyboth Wild

Rune 3-0 @1/1

Holger Rune’s game works well on faster surfaces and he was in full flight in the first round. His serve was firing, and he took away time from his opponent. Thiago Seyboth Wild was one of the few players who made a remarkable comeback from down two sets in the first round. Wild has a much tougher task with Rune and he is not prepared for that.

Alex de Minaur vs Jaume Munar

Minaur 3-0 @2/5

Alex de Minaur was in a tough battle against James Duckworth but did well to win that match in straight sets. He was clutch in the tiebreaks and would expect to play an easier match against Jaume Munar, who prefers clay courts and there is nothing he does better than De Minaur on grass.

Hubert Hurkacz vs Arthur Fils

Hurkacz ML @1/4

Hubert Hurkacz started slowly in his first-round match but got better and won comfortably in four sets. He is one of the favourites outside the top 3 to win the title and will hope for a better performance against Arthur Fils, who has played some great tennis recently. Fils is a talented player with lots of upside, but Hurkacz will be too much for him.

Novak Djokovic vs Jacob Fearnley

Djokovic 3-0 @2/5

Novak Djokovic played a positive match and his knee looked good, not in full flight yet. He tried at times to take it easy on the knee. But pretty much the optimal start for him. His serve and return looked great and, that would do the job for him against most players, including his second-round opponent, Jacob Fearnley, who has been playing well this grass season at the Challenger tour.

Cameron Norrie vs Jack Draper

Over 39.5 games @5/6

Cameron Norrie got a comfortable win in his first-round match, but he has been in woeful form this year and will be desperate to halt this alarming slide down the rankings. Norrie will be extra motivated for this match as Jack Draper has overtaken him as the British #1. Draper did not have an easy first round and had to battle to the end to win in five sets. But if he stays aggressive, he should win this match, but the over feels safe.

Elena Rybakina vs Laura Siegemund

Rybakina 2-0 @1/4

Siegemund’s awkward playing style is sometimes one that Rybakina struggles against. But the German is still unlikely to be able to live with the 2022 champion’s power. Rybakina to win in straight sets.

Jessica Pegula vs Wang Xinyu

Pegula 2-0 @4/5

Pegula was very impressive in the opening round. It is possible that the Berlin Open champion could make a very deep run at SW19, while slipping under the radar as she does. Pegula will almost certainly be too good for Wang, who is not in her class on any surface.

Ons Jabeur vs Robin Montgomery

Jabeur 2-0 @8/13

Jabeur is on a mission here. Can she go all the way? We don’t know. But she’s not falling this early.

We try to pick our favoured matches as we want wins and will only go for value, especially in the early rounds.
